San Beda is at the top of the heap and will be having a twice-to-beat advantage in the Philippines NCAA. One of their main guns is Sam Ekwe from Nigeria. College basketball in the Philippines is jsut like in the US wherein a students of any nationality can play as long as they are enrolled in the school and has passed eligibility requirements imposed by the league.
